Adela Raczka

Adela (Kowalczyk) Raczka, 88, of Southington, passed away peacefully at Hartford Hospital on Monday, April 10, 2023. She was the loving wife of the late Stanley Raczka, Jr. for over 50 years.  She will be dearly missed by all who knew her as there are so many wonderful memories that she left us with.

Born in Hartford, Adela grew up in West Hartford and lived in Southington for the last sixty-two years.  Adela was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend who loved spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by her four children: Nancy Sullivan and husband Tim of Plainville, Susan Raczka of Plainville, Michael Raczka of Southington, and Diane Malloy and husband Kevin of West Chester, PA.  In addition to her husband Stanley Raczka, she was predeceased by her daughter-in-law Lisa A. (Niland) Raczka, her sister Jan Curran, her brother-in-law William Raczka and her sisters-in-law Jane Kowalczyk and Joan Lorencz. She leaves behind her much-loved grandchildren; Tara, Christian, Mitchell, Timothy, Kyle, Madison, Connor and Mackenzie. Adela is also survived by her brothers; Joseph Kowalczyk and Edward Glod, her sister-in-law Jean Raczka, her brother-in-law Robert Curran, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
