Angela (Marek) Stout, 55, of Southington, passed away unexpectedly on Friday May 29, 2015 at her home. She had been the loving wife of Timothy Stout for over 25 years.

Born in Southington on May 3, 1960 to the late Frank and Priscilla (Reed) Marek, she had been a longtime Southington resident.

Angela was a longtime parishioner of St. Thomas Church. She was a devoted caretaker to her family and will be remembered for her kindness and generosity.

In addition to her husband Tim, she is survived by her sister Dawn Sylvain of Old Lyme, two brothers, Frank Marek of Plantsville and Joel Marek and his wife Wanda of Plainville, two sisters-in-law, Barbara Stout of Southington and Patricia Sargis and her husband Douglas of FL; 3 nephews, Shawn Sylvain, Jeffrey Sargis and Brian Sargis and 2 nieces, April Murallo and Kelly Fradette. She was predeceased by her son Timothy Stout, 2 brothers-in-law, Guy Sylvain and Claude Stout and her father and mother-in-law, Claude and Helen Stout.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at St. Thomas Church, 99 Bristol St., Southington. Burial will follow in St. Thomas Cemetery, Southington. Calling hours will be held before the Mass from 9 - 10:00 a.m. at the Plantsville Funeral Home, 975 S. Main St., Plantsville.
