Barbara Pacanski

Barbara Pacanski, 70, of New Britain, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at HOCC New Britain.

Barbara was born on January 6, 1951 in Skarżysko-Kamienna, Poland to the late Eugeniusz Pyzybyl and Waclawa Maria Maliszewska.

She worked as a Tool Designer for many years in the Engineering field checking quality specifications on drafted plans using mathematical calculations. She enjoyed tending to her roses, cooking, walking in all the seasons, going to the beach and most of all loved a fresh snowfall’s serenity and beauty. She will be remembered for her generosity and loving care when it came to her children.

Barbara is survived by her daughter, Sylvia Bedard and her husband Paul of Southington, and her son, Peter Pacanski and his wife Jennifer of South Carolina, and 3 grandchildren, Ava and Olivia Bedard and Liam Pacanski. She is also survived by her former husband, Jan Pacanski of Southington and her brother, Marek Przybyl of Poland.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 7, 2021 at St. Aloysius Church, 254 Burritt St, Plantsville. Burial will follow in South End Cemetery, Southington.
