Brenda A. Nadeau

Brenda Anne Nadeau, 52, of the Plantsville section of Southington, passed away peacefully at The Summit at Plantsville on Wednesday, October 5, 2016 after an extensive illness.

Born on January 7, 1964 to Yvonne (Campbell) Nadeau and the late Alphonse Nadeau, she had been a lifelong Southington resident. Brenda was predeceased by her love, Kyle Ancher.

Brenda worked as a bookkeeper with Patrick Baker & Sons where she made many lasting friendships. Her hobbies and interests included exploring architecture with Kyle, collecting antiques and gardening. You were always able to find Brenda in the yard tending her flowers and garden.

In addition to her mother Yvonne, she is survived by 2 brothers; Randall Nadeau of Meriden and Allen Nadeau and wife Lynette of Southington and her sister, Deana Simoes and husband Fernando of Plantsville. Although Brenda had no children of her own, she will be remembered as the favorite aunt of Melissa Simoes of East Haven, Nicole Nadeau of New Britain, Nicholas Nadeau of Berlin and Jordan Nadeau of Southington. Her namesake great-nephew, Brendan Cody of East Haven always brought a smile to her face.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Brenda's memory may be made to the donor's choice of any animal rescue organization or to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 15, 2016 at St. Aloysius Church, 254 Burritt St., Plantsville. Burial will follow in St. Thomas Cemetery, Southington.
