Carol A. Nevrivy

Carol A. (Rauchbach) Nevrivy, 62, of Southington, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, August 1, 2022.  She was the loving wife of Jan Nevrivy for 33 years.

Carol was born on October 21, 1959, in Seattle, Washington to the late Sidney and Ann (Reese) Rauchbach and had been a longtime Southington resident.

Carol graduated from UCONN with her BA. She worked at Realty 3 for over 35 years and played an important role in the mentoring and inspiring of new agents. Carol was Past President of the Mid-State Association of Realtors, as well as the member of the Board of Directors, she was also Mid-State Realtor of the Year in 2007, featured in the exclusive Metropolitan Professional Registry and CT Magazine and was a candidate for State Realtor of the Year in 2019. Carol participated in the Mid-State Association Golf Tournament and was involved in CT Realtor committees and events. She was an upstanding member of the National Association of Realtors and led the annual Christmas Wishes for Kids charity, held at the Aqua Turf, which is truly a tremendous event. Carol was always full of life. She enjoyed cooking, watching her favorite football team the NY Giants and spending time with her family. She also loved the beach, especially vacations in the Outer Banks. She was a loving wife, proud mother and grandmother and dear friend and colleague.

In addition to her husband Jan, Carol is survived by 3 children, Justin Nevrivy and Katie Seeger of Middletown, Alex Nevrivy and Miranda Monte of Southington and Nicole Wilson and her husband Louis of Mississippi, as well as her 6 grandchildren; Camden and Logan Nevrivy of Middletown, Sophia and Jameson Nevrivy of Southington and Zoeih and Breanna Wilson of Mississippi. She is also survived by her brother, Steven Rauchbach and his wife Christine of Germany and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
