Catherine Miliski

Catherine (Eckert) Miliski, 93, of Southington died Friday Feb. 5, 2010 at home. She was the wife of the late Henry Miliski.

She was born June 15, 1916 to the late Mr. and Mrs. William Eckert and had lived in Southington since 1948.

Mrs. Miliski was an Air Raid Warden during WWII. She was a former member and secretary of the Connecticut Chapter of the Women's Relief Corps. She was a longtime volunteer in her community.

She is survived by two sons; John Prytula and Robert Miliski and his wife Carol; one daughter, Arlene Hauser and her husband Peter; one granddaughter, Hannah and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Tues. Feb. 9, 2010 at 11 a.m. at the Plantsville Funeral Home, 975 S. Main St., Plantsville. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery, Southington. Calling hours are Monday Feb. 8th from 4-6 p.m. at the funeral home.
