Cecilia Bouchard

Cecilia D. Bouchard, 88, of Southington, passed away peacefully after a brief illness on Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at MidState Medical Center. She had been the loving wife of the late Rosaire Bouchard for nearly 68 years. 

Cecilia was born on January 12, 1934 in New Canada, Maine to the late Josephel and Mary Jane (Rossignol) Theriault.  She was a longtime parishioner of Mary Our Queen Church. Cecilia enjoyed listening to country music, cooking and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. 

She is survived by her 4 children, Carroll Bouchard (Kathy), Michael Bouchard (Holly), Carlene Michaud and Elaine Lavertue (Leo), 11 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by one sister, Theresa Nadaeu of Southington, one brother, Roger Theriault and his wife Lucille of Fort Kent, ME and several nieces and nephews. 

In addition to her husband Rosaire, Cecilia was predeceased by her son Stanley Bouchard, 2 grandchildren, Tara B. Schneider and Shawn Bouchard, her son-in-law, Lester Michaud, 5 sisters and 2 brothers.
