Charles Russo, III

Charles “Charlie” Russo III, 80, of Southington, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 20, 2026 at the HOCC at New Britain.

He was born on October 17, 1945 in Waterbury, CT to the late Charles II and Janice Russo.

Charles proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He worked in the workers’ compensation department for the State of Connecticut, retiring after 33 years of dedicated service. Charlie loved food and especially enjoyed his wife Terri’s cooking. He was also a big fan of watching the WWE. Charlie will be remembered for being kind-hearted, loving and loyal.

He is survived by his wife, Theresa A. Smith-Russo of Southington and her son, Michael Valerio Smith of Bristol.
