Clovis M. Rideout

Clovis (McGrath) Rideout, 89, of the Plantsville section of Southington, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at Complete Care in Meriden. She was the loving wife of the late Delbert Rideout, Jr. who predeceased her in 1988.

Clovis was born on September 28, 1935 in Hartford to the late Stanley and Rita (Deganis) McGrath.

She was a loving wife, mother, sister and the best “Nan” who always put her family first. She is survived by two sons, Delbert Rideout and David Rideout, both of Plantsville, and daughter, Susan Kish (Michael), six grandchildren, Sean, Kaitlyn, Eddie, Jessie, Rachel and David Jr. and many great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Stanley McGrath and his wife Maryland of Newington. In addition to her husband Delbert, she was predeceased by her daughter, Sharon Rideout and son, Darren Rideout.
