Constance “Connie” (Ginsburg) Csont, 84, of Southington, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 31, 2026. She was married to the love of her life, Rudolph F. Csont, with whom she shared nearly 45 blessed years; the two were virtually never apart.

Connie was born on October 24, 1941, in New Britain, CT, to the late Harry and Marjorie (Sleath) Ginsburg. She graduated from New Britain High School in 1959 and went on to earn her associate degree from Endicott College in 1961. Connie worked briefly as a nursery schoolteacher before establishing a family and beginning a lengthy career at The Hartford, where she served as an insurance rater.

In addition to her husband, Rudy, Connie is survived by her children: Jonathan Heflin and his wife, Colleen, of Madison; Sarah Lynn and her husband, Jack, of Southington; Kenneth Csont of FL; Diana Naples and her husband, Peter, of Southington; and Laura Lentocha and her husband, Raymond, of FL. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Jordan, Victoria, Chandler, Brian, Erin, Kara, Rylie, Daniel and Derrick; her great-grandchildren, Jackson, Hunter, Tucker, Devin. Dylann and Molly; her sister, Carol Blauvelt of Bristol; and many nieces and nephews.

Connie had a wonderful sense of humor, was a loving mother and grandmother who always made a point to attend her family’s games and activities. She was a longtime member of the First Congregational Church in Southington. An avid reader, she also enjoyed boating in Mystic with her husband, Rudy. Connie was an active volunteer at Southington Community Services, where she formed many lasting friendships.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at Plantsville Funeral Home, 975 S. Main St., Plantsville. Calling hours will be held at the funeral home before the service from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. A luncheon hosted by the family will follow at The Back Nine Tavern in Southington.
