Craig M. Belden

Craig M. “Craiger” Belden, 56, of Southington, passed away on Tuesday, July 2, 2019 at Yale New Haven Hospital after a long battle with cancer. He was born in New Britain on July 20, 1962 to the late Calvin Belden and Carol Surko.

Craig was a longtime local autobody technician. He loved NASCAR, fishing and spending time with his grandkids and enjoyed the summers he spent with family and friends at Coventry Lake. Craig is survived by his son Christopher Belden and his wife Michele and their two children, CJ and Elyana; his son Michael Belden his girlfriend, Kaula and their daughter Melia, and his son Shawn Belden, all of Bristol, one brother, Bill Belden and his wife Denise of Southington and his stepfather, Walter Surko of FL.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Craig’s memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123.
