David "Willie" C. Gannon

David “Willie” Coleman Gannon, 60, of Southington, CT passed away unexpectedly at his home on Monday, April 8, 2024. 

David was born on February 19, 1964 in Winchester, MA to Janice N. (Quinn) Gannon and the late Robert A. Gannon.

David graduated from Southington High School, Class of 1982 and went on to earn his bachelor's degree from CCSU. He worked alongside his family at G & L Water Works Supply in Plantsville for many years. David was an avid Boston Red Sox and Boston Bruins fan. He will be deeply missed by his family and many friends.  

In addition to his mother Janice, he is survived by three siblings; Maura Dillon, Mark Gannon and Deirdre Cop and husband Stan, all of Southington, 6 nieces and nephews; Neal Dillon (Caitlin), Courtney Dillon (Christopher Sprague), Kathleen Sklepinski (John), Andrew Cop (Marisa), Maureen Valletta (Rick) and Kevin Cop (Michelle) and many great-nieces and nephews. In addition to his father Bob, David was predeceased by his brother-in-law, Walter J. Dillon Jr. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 15, 2024 at Mary Our Queen Church, 248 Savage St., Plantsville. Plantsville Funeral Home has been entrusted with handling the arrangements. For online condolences and directions, please visit www.plantsvillefunerahome.com
