Eleanor "Barbara" Tomasiewicz

Eleanor Barbara Waskelewicz Tomasiewicz, 94, passed away on February 3, 2018. Barb, lifelong resident of New Britain, was predeceased by her husband Anthony and daughters Diane and Daune. Basia is survived by the circle of in-laws she considered her family. We are especially thankful for her aide Daria who made it possible for her to enjoy her last years on her beloved “Plantation.”

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2018 at Holy Cross Church, 31 Biruta St., New Britain. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, New Britain. Calling hours will be held before the Mass from 9:30 – 10:15 a.m. at the Plantsville Funeral Home, 975 S.
