Elizabeth Agnes (Ziebka) Drozd, 99, a lifelong resident of Southington, Connecticut, died peacefully on April 4, 2026 in the town where she was born on August 27, 1926. She was the daughter of the late Stanislaw and Agata (Kockanska) Ziebka. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 59 years, Frank C. Drozd, her siblings, Elsie Pasquale (Armond), Matthew Ziebka (Marie), Frances Zercie (Leo) and Walter Ziebka (Catherine).
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, David F. Drozd and Janet O. Drozd, granddaughter, Jenny E. Cleary and her husband, Daniel J. Cleary II and several nieces and nephews.
Elizabeth was a graduate of Southington High School and worked as a secretary, later working alongside her husband Frank and son David at Utica Spring Inc. She and her husband and sister Frances made multiple trips to Europe. Their visits to Poland were to visit where their parents came from. She was a lifelong parishioner of Immaculate Conception Church of Southington – St. Luke’s Parish- and a member of the Immaculata and Holy Rosary Society.
A loving wife, mother and grandmother, Elizabeth was devoted to her family. Her warmth, devotion and love of family will be remembered always.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9 a.m. on Saturday, April 11, 2026 at St. Dominic Church St. Luke's Parish, 1050 Flanders Rd., Southington. Burial will follow in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Southington. There are no calling hours. Plantsville Funeral Home has been entrusted with handling the arrangements.
