Frank J. Kristopik

Frank J. Kristopik, 83, of Southington, CT, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 9, 2026 at his home. He was the husband of Maureen (Murphy) Kristopik.

Frank was born on October 26, 1942 in New Britain, only child of the late Frank and Leocadia “Lucy” (Kowalczyk) Kristopik.

Frank attended Sacred Heart School, St. Thomas Aquinas High School and the University of Hartford.

He worked in the food industry for 53 years, working for Food Mart/Waldbaum’s/A&P as store manager in various locations throughout CT and Western MA, retiring in 2010 after 49 years of dedicated service.

Frank leaves behind his best friend and wife Maureen, his son, Frank C. Kristopik and wife Sheri of Plantsville, two daughters, Marlene VanLinter and husband Gil of Southington and Merrilee Dibble and husband Chris of Southington, five grandchildren; Melissa Morais and husband Joseph, Ryan VanLinter, Ashleigh Kristopik, Tori Allain, Sabrina Dibble and Jessica Chism and husband Steve and five treasured great grandchildren; Olivia Morals, Luca Morais, Ahlias Dibble, Phoenix Murray and Ruby Chism. He was predeceased by his son, Michael Thomas Kristopik and grandson, Maximillian Walter Dibble.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, October 19, 2026 at St. Dominic’s Church, 1050 Flanders Rd., Southington. Please meet directly at church. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. Calling hours will be held from 2 – 4 p.m. on Sunday, October 18, 2026 at the Plantsville Funeral Home, 975 S. Main St., Plantsville.
