Frederick Tipper Angliss Jr.

Frederick Tipper Angliss Jr., 77, of Cheshire, CT and formerly of San Anselmo, CA, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 13, 2025 at HOCC at New Britain. He was the beloved husband of Pamela (Nunn) Angliss for 58 years.

Fred was born on November 26, 1947 in Bridgeport, CT to the late Frederick T. Angliss Sr. and Judith (Sullivan) Angliss. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from Virginia Polytechnic University and worked as the Head Structural Engineer at Earnest Orlando Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory in Berkeley, CA until his retirement. After 32 years in California, Fred and Pam returned home to Connecticut to be closer to family and Fred worked at LMT Technology Solutions in Plainville. For many years, he was active on the Copper Hill Homeowner’s Association, serving as Past President and on the Board of Directors.

In addition to his wife and the love of his life Pam, he is survived by one brother, David H. Angliss and his wife Laura of Cheshire, his nephew Nathan Angliss and wife Danielle of Cheshire, his niece Gillian Glaser and her husband Patrick of Huntington Bay, Long Island, two grandnephews, Emmett and Logan Angliss. He is also survived by many cousins and two sisters-in-law, Stacey Nunn and Karen Nunn Liskamm and her husband William, both of California.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, July 16, 2025 from 10 - 11am with Words of Remembrance at 11:00 am at the Plantsville Funeral Home, 975 S. Main St., Plantsville.
