Gail Ann (Farnham) LaPoint, 85, lifelong Southington resident, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 18, 2025 with her loved ones by her side.
Gail was born on August 5, 1939 in Palmyra, Maine to the late Derward and Bridget (O’Shea) Farnham.
She was a devoted Red Sox fan who found happiness in sports, her family and the countless moments shared with loved ones. Known for her quick wit and sense of humor, she never failed to bring laughter to those around her. Her love and humor will live on in those who knew her.
Gail was predeceased by her siblings, Kathy, Gloria, Winona, Eileen, twin brother Gailen and Al. She is survived by her loving children, Cheryl Voytek, Timothy LaPoint (Edith), Sean LaPoint (Yvonne) and Shannon Donahue (Kelly), her treasured grandchildren, Torrie, Matt, Ashleigh, Evan, Shannon, Timmy, Kieresten, Bri, Brendan and Kealey, along with her great-grandchildren, Kallie, Myra and Maeve.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Gail’s memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (https://www.stjude.org/).
