Geraldine B. (Ambrose) Indoe, 78, of Southington, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Friday, August 26, 2022, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s Disease. She had been the beloved wife of Frederick Indoe for 57 years.
Geri was born on July 10, 1944 in Kearny, New Jersey to the late Joseph and Mary (Lee) Ambrose.
She was a longtime parishioner of Mary Our Queen Church in Plantsville and was a member of the Ladies Guild. Geri had a strong faith in God and love for her family. She was happiest surrounded by her family and friends, planning and celebrating all occasions, in addition to reading and spending time at the beach.
In addition to her husband Fred, she is survived by her daughter Cynthia Fox and her husband Jim of Berlin, her son, Dan Indoe and his wife Maureen of Portsmouth, NH and 4 grandchildren, Bridget, Meghan, Patrick and Reagan. She is also survived by her sister, Elizabeth Pierce of Tucson, AZ, two brothers, Jay Ambrose and wife Maddy of Mashpee, MA, Will Ambrose of Clifford Springs, NY, her brother-in-law, Skip Koehler of Broadbrook, CT and many nieces, nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Frederick J. Indoe, sister, Mary Lee Koehler, brother-in-law, John Pierce and sister-in-law, Lou Ambrose.

Funeral services will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 3, 2022 from the Plantsville Funeral Home, 975 S. Main St, Plantsville with a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Mary Our Queen Church, 248 Savage St, Plantsville.
