Gundelinde "Gundi" Sedlatschek

Gundi Sedlatschek, 84 of Southington, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 10, 2022.

Gundi was born on August 12, 1937 in Germany, daughter of the late Bertha and Alois Sedlatschek of Germany. Gundi was a master dressmaker, active in two hiking clubs, traveled extensively and won accolades for her beautiful gardens.

She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Ingrid and Paul Buchner and two nephews, Oliver and Steffen Buchner, all of Germany. Gundi also leaves behind her best friend, Jane Richards of Cheshire. Gundi appreciated her caregivers, Violet, Lucy and Kristyna.

Honoring Gundi's wishes, words of remembrance will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at the Plantsville Funeral Home, 975 S. Main St., Plantsville.
