Holly (Burgess) Rosengrant

Holly (Burgess) Rosengrant, 58, of Plantsville, passed away on Tuesday, May 5, 2015, at Southington Care Center after a brief illness. She was the loving wife of Donald Rosengrant for 25 years.

Born October 11, 1956 in Plainville to Ruth (Zurell) Burgess and the late Harlan Burgess, she had been a longtime Plantsville resident.

Holly was a graduate of Plainville High School. She was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church. She enjoyed crocheting and doing arts and crafts.

In addition to her husband Donald and her mother Ruth, she is survived by her daughter Lisa Rosengrant of Plantsville and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her aunts, Effie and Alice Burgess and her grandparents, Harlan and Effie Burgess.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2015 at 9:00 a.m. from the Plantsville Funeral Home, 975 S. Main St., Plantsville with a 10:00 a.m. funeral service at Grace United Methodist Church, 121 Pleasant St., Southington. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery, Southington.
