Waltraud Jahr

Waltraud (Dierkopf) Jahr, 94, of Ocala, FL and formerly of the Plantsville section of Southington, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, September 14, 2022. She had been the loving wife of the late Otto Jahr for 62 years.

Waltraud was born on July 7, 1928 in Germany to the late Fritz and Augusta Dierkopf and came to the United States in 1952. Waltraud enjoyed playing cards, Bingo, traveling and loved to dance.

She is survived by 2 daughters, Ingrid Houle and her husband John and Debbie Viola and her husband Fred, all of Ocala, FL, her son, Robert Jahr and his wife Sandy of Southington, 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
