Jay N. Cochrane

Jay Nelson Cochrane, 60, of West Haven and formerly of Southington, passed away on Thursday, September 29, 2022.

Born in Bristol on April 21, 1962, Jay was one of three sons to Shirley (Grimm) Cochrane of Plantsville and the late Donald Cochrane.

Jay graduated from Southington High School, Class of 1980.  He proudly served his country in the U.S. Marines. Jay had a passion for music and skiing, and he loved going to concerts, attending hundreds of them over the years.

In addition to his mother, Shirley, he is survived by his brother, Dean Cochrane and his wife, Lori; 3 children, Daron, Clifford, Reanna, all of Meriden; his nieces and nephews, Jessica, Kristin, Brooke and Kamryn; along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was predeceased by his brother, Glenn A. Cochrane.

Jay may be remembered with contributions to VA Connecticut HCS Voluntary Service (135), 950 Campbell Ave, West Haven, CT 06516.
