Jeffrey G. DeRosa

Jeffrey G. DeRosa, 64, of Southington, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 5, 2024 at MidState Medical Center.  He was a loving son, brother, uncle and friend.

Born on January 28, 1960 in Southington, CT to Carolyn Francis DeRosa and the late Gene DeRosa, he had been a lifelong Southington resident.

For many years, Jeff worked alongside his father and brother, David at the family business, Statewide Foundations. He loved football, especially the Minnesota Vikings and enjoyed fishing, bowling, listening to music and cooking. He was also a longtime member of the Sons of Italy.

In addition to his mother Carolyn, Jeff is survived by his sisters, Lori DeRosa and Tammy DeRosa, both of Southington, 2 nephews, Aaron Berger and Jaime DeRosa and niece, Tiffany Tricarico, all of Southington, great- nephew and great-nieces, Antonio, Emma, Madalyn and Josalyn and his best friend, Michael Cyr of Southington. In addition to his father Gene, Jeff was predeceased by his brothers, Daniel and David DeRosa and nephew, Justin Colasante.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 11, 2024 at the Plantsville Funeral Home, 975 S. Main Street, Plantsville. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery, Southington.
