Joanne Corriveau

Joanne Corriveau, 51 of Southington died Saturday March 13, 2010 at home. She was the daughter of Mildred (Maskaitis) Rabis and the late Joseph Rabis.

She was born in Southington on March 28, 1958 and was a life long resident.

Joanne graduated from the Morse School of Business and worked for Jefferson Radiology, East Hartford, as a Certified Credentialing Coordinator.

In addition to her mother she is survived by her daughter, Jolene Van Allen of Willimantic; three sisters: Kathy Slocum and husband Bill of Vermont, Linda Reid of Florida and Eileen Savage and husband Donald of Southington; her precious granddaughter Lilly and her longtime companion Bob Politz, with whose family she shared a very special closeness and many nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by her brother Joseph Rabis.

A Funeral Mass will be held Wed. March 17, 2010 at 10 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church, 130 Summer St., Plantsville. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. Plantsville Funeral Home, 975 S. Main St., Plantsville is assisting the family with arrangements.
