Joseph (Joey) Ranno

Joseph (Joey) Ranno passed away peacefully at Day Kimball Hospital in Putnam, CT on Sunday November 8, 2009. He was born in East Hartford, CT July 17, 1933. Joey is the last known surviving family member. He is pre-deceased by his wife Joann (Tedeschini) Ranno after twenty glorious years of marriage. Joey worked at Cedar Crest Hospital from 1966-1976. He continued performing janitorial duties for several state facilities until his retirement in 1998. Joey leaves behind many beloved friends and companions who will miss his uncanny ability to remain true to himself and all others privileged to have befriended him. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday Nov. 21, 2009 at 10 a.m. at the Plantsville Funeral Home, 975 S. Main St., Plantsville, CT.
