Judith I. (Curran) Limmer, 85, of Southington, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, May 31, 2026.

Judith Irene Curran, later known as Paige, Dautrich and Limmer, was born on December 4, 1940 in Meriden, Connecticut to the late Joseph Sr. and Irene (Cooper) Curran. She grew up surrounded by cherished family members, including her favorite aunts and uncles – Anna Mae (Curran) and Louis Olmstead, Agnes Curran – and her special cousin, Burns Olmstead.

Judy graduated from Southington High School, Class of 1958. After completing her education, she began her career at Traveler’s Insurance Company in Hartford, where she worked for eight years. She then served part-time as a secretary for the Town of Southington Housing Authority. Following this, she held a newly created part-time secretarial position with the Southington Fire Department. In 1981, Judy became a part-time clerk for the Town of Southington Building Department. Between 1983 and 1985, she worked in the Southington Town Clerk’s Office. From 1985 until 2021, Judy was employed in the Finance Department as a payroll clerk.

Judy was a lifelong communicant of St. Thomas Church. She volunteered at St. Thomas Jr. High School for three years and also worked part-time as a travel agent. She was a Charter Member of the Junior Women’s Club and served as President for two years. Judy enjoyed bowling, playing Bridge, quilting, dancing, antiquing and listening to her husband’s and son’s band performances. She was affectionately known as the “Ultimate Groupie.” She will always be remembered for her feisty spirit, her tiny Cinderella shoes from Boston, her Chicos wardrobe and her infectious laughter and sense of humor. Her warmth and enthusiasm made her a cherished presence at every gathering- a beloved friend, family member and the quintessential groupie.

In addition her parents, Judy was predeceased by her brother, Joseph Curran, her first husband, Robert Paige, an infant daughter, Robyn Paige, her Godchildren, Jennifer Williams, Scott Olmstead and Gary Falco and her friends, Shirley White, Ceil Zantow and many others.

She is also survived by her sister, Roberta Simone (Tom), brother, Michael Curran (Linda), sister-in-law, Jeannette Paige, brothers-in-law, Roger Limmer (Gloria) and James Limmer and several nieces, nephews and special friends, Priscilla, Patti, Terry, Sharon, Audrey and Harriet.
