Judith E. Lunn

Judith “Judy” E. (Regis) Lunn, 58, of Southington, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at HOCC New Britain after a courageous battle with lung cancer.

Born in New Britain on August 27, 1962 to the late Andrew and Mary (Tormay) Regis, she had been a lifelong Southington resident.

Judy was an avid animal lover and rescued many pets over the years. She had a strong faith in God and loved her family.

She is survived by four children: Brian Blachowski and his wife Callie of Jacksonville, FL; John Lunn and Hanna Jazwicz of Middletown, Melissa Lunn of New Britain and Mary Lunn and her fiancé Ryan Lane of Southington and her cherished granddaughter, Avery Blachowski. She is also survived by her longtime companion, Sal Sanford of Southington; two brothers, Andrew G. Regis and his companion Tamara Turner of San Bernardino, CA; Steven Regis and his partner, Dennis Thornton of Windham and sister, Susan Ross and her husband David of Bristol, her niece, Cassandra Ross and nephew, Marco Ross, both of Bristol and her great-niece and great-nephew, Aiko and Emma. She was predeceased by her infant brothers and an infant niece.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 17, 2021 at Mary Our Queen Church, 248 Savage St, Southington. Burial will follow in St. Thomas Cemetery, Southington. Walk-through calling hours will be held on Friday, April 16, 2021 from 4 – 7 p.m. at the Plantsville Funeral Home, 975 S. Main St, Plantsville.
