Karen E. (Munson) Rudolewicz, 74, of Bristol, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 25, 2025. She was the devoted wife of Bruce Rudolewicz for 47 years.
Karen was born on August 14, 1950 in Southington to the late Walter and Claire (Crandall) Munson.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from CCSU and worked as a paraprofessional in the Plainville School System for many years.
Karen was a free spirit and wants her legacy of love to live on in the hearts of her cherished grandchildren and all of the students whose lives she impacted over her long rewarding career.
In addition to her husband Bruce, Karen is survived by two children. Her daughter, Laura LaRosa and husband Paul. Her son, Alan Rudolewicz and wife Katie. She is also survived by her 4 grandchildren, Sydney and Ava LaRosa and Jacob and Isaac Rudolewicz, all of Bristol. She also leaves behind her brother, Kevin Munson and his wife Nanette of Southington, sister-in-law, Frances Lord of New Smyrna Beach, FL, her beloved pup, Rudy and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Karen was predeceased by her best friend, Laurie Gualano.
