Kenneth G. Burse, 67, of Southington, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on Wednesday, September 28, 2016.
Born July 20, 1949 in Ridgewood, NJ to the late William and Violet (Breckenridge) Burse, he had been a longtime Southington resident.
Ken graduated from Bethany College in West Virginia class of 1971; he worked for many years as a Sales Rep. for Nicholas J. Bouras. He was a Member of the Masonic Lodge Friendship #33 where he served as the past Master and was a life member of Sphinx Temple Shriners where he was past Chief and Chaplin of Funster Clown Unit and was a member of the Scottish Rite.
Ken is survived by two children: his son Bryson Burse and his girlfriend Marlo Lagosz of Southington and his daughter Becca Giulini and her husband Tim of Mystic. He also leaves behind his 5 grandchildren: Brody and Adalynn Burse; Tyler Caron and Maggie and Katie Giulini.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Ken's memory may be made to Red Sneaker Fund, Attn: George Pipes 382 Mullberry Rd. Hazel Green, AL 35750 .
A funeral service will be held at 10:00.a.m. on Saturday October 1, 2016 at the Plantsville Funeral Home, 975 S. Main St., Plantsville. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery, Southington.
