Lany Francisquini

Lany (Felipe) Francisquini, 40, of the Plantsville section of Southington, CT, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 4, 2026 at the HOCC at New Britain.

Lany was the loving wife and best friend of Jesse Francisquini for 22 years.

Lany was born in the Bronx, NY on July 13, 1985, to Eliana (Liriano) Felipe and the late Apolinar Felipe. She graduated from Theodore Roosevelt High School and went on to work as a pharmacy technician while attending college.

Lany loved to travel, listen to music, dance, take trips to the beach and spend time with her friends and family, including her adoring cats, Lola and Spunky.

She will be remembered for her caring soul, generous heart, strong personality and her endless passion to work.

In addition to her husband Jesse and her mother Eliana, Lany is survived by five siblings, Felicia, Cecilia, Jose, Raphael and David and many nieces and nephews including Lele, Hansel, Noel, Manuelito, Titi, Nini, Linda, Aiden and Saralany, whom she is named after. She was close to her cousins, Carolina, Yomaira, Frankie and Tony. Lany had many friends especially the “MAPS” Yokasta, Cristal, and Leonela. She is also survived by her in-laws, Jorge and Juanita Francisquini of New York and a large loving extended family.

Calling hours will be held from 5 – 7 p.m. on Friday, June 12, 2026 at the Plantsville Funeral Home, 975 S. Main St., Plantsville. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 13, 2026 at Wonx Spring Cemetery, Marion Ave., Plantsville, CT. Please meet directly at the cemetery.
