Le Myra Kowalczyk

Le Myra “Lea” (Seaver) Kowalczyk, 83, of Southington, CT, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, February 8, 2024, at HOCC at Bradley. She was the loving wife of Robert M. Kowalczyk Sr. for 41 years.

Le Myra was born on March 3, 1940, in Niagara Falls, NY to the late Robert and Ruth Seaver.

She co-owned and operated the former Convenient Deli and Convenient Deli II in Southington alongside her husband for many years and most recently was working as a tax preparer for H & R Block.  Lea enjoyed going to the beach, especially during the summers spent in Old Lyme and being together with family at their gatherings. 

In addition to her husband Bob, Lea is survived by her daughter, Terri Kannenberg, her mother-in-law, Mary Kowalczyk, two sisters-in-law, Mary Petruzzi (Michael) and Eva Verrilli (Tony), both of Southington, brother-in-law, James Kowalczyk of Bristol and many nieces and nephews. 

She was predeceased by her daughter, Jamie Kannenberg, sister, Roberta Minear, father-in-law, Robert Kowalczyk, brother-in-law, John Kowalczyk Sr. and sister-in-law, Janet Kowalczyk.
