Linda R. Paradis

Linda (Ross) Paradis, 77, of Southington, CT, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Wednesday, April 3, 2024. She was the loving wife and best friend of James I. Paradis for nearly 52 years. 

Linda was born on April 1, 1947 in Hartford to the late Charles and Germaine (Gilbert) Ross and graduated from Southington High School, Class of 1965. She worked at Marlin Rockwell for many years and as a real estate agent but her favorite occupation was being the “Best Mom Ever.” Linda enjoyed golfing, skiing and going for walks. She was an avid NY Yankees and UCONN basketball fan and loved her teddy bear collection. 

In addition to her husband Jim, Linda is survived by two sons; Jeffrey Paradis and wife Melissa of Tetonia, ID and Jason Paradis and fiancé Lexie Broytman of Southington, CT and 2 grandchildren, Ivan and Sylvia Paradis. She is also survived by her brother, James Ross and wife Joan of Andover, CT, brothers-in-law, Robert Paradis (Karen),  Kenneth Paradis (Rita) and Robert Blair, sister-in-law, Gloria Colonero (Vincent), nieces and nephews: Katie Smulski, Jennifer DeLeon, Jeremy Ross, Justin Ross, Greg Colonero, Kate Colonero and Daniel Blair and many loving friends. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her father and mother-in-law, Ivan and Sylvia Paradis, sisters-in-law, Evelyn Paradis and Diana Blair and niece, Denise Blair.

A Celebration of Linda’s life will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, April 6, 2024 at the Plantsville Funeral Home, 975 S. Main St., Plantsville.
