Linda M. Siedel

Linda M. (Stadnicki) Siedel, 78, of Southington, passed away peacefully at her home on May 7, 2025. She was the loving wife of Karl Siedel for nearly 57 years.

Linda was born on March 5, 1947 in Chicopee, MA to the late Max and Stacia (Slowik) Stadnicki.

She graduated from Chicopee High School and went on to earn her degree in teaching from College of Our Lady of the Elms. Linda was a school teacher in Daytona Beach, FL before moving to Southington to raise her family. She worked in the Southington School System as permanent substitute for many years, eventually retiring to help raise and care for her grandchildren.

Linda was a parishioner at St. Dominic’s Church in Southington. She was an avid planter and enjoyed tending to all of the beautiful flowers in her yard. Linda loved her family, especially her grandkids and will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and the best grandma.

In addition to her husband Karl, Linda is survived by her son, Michael Siedel of Naples, FL and two daughters, Lisa Badgley and her husband Jonathan of Southington and Heather Oppewall and her husband Jamie  of Southbridge, MA and seven grandchildren, Joshua, Jake, Adam, Kaitlin, Grace, Abigail and Timothy. She is also survived by one sister, Elaine Minkos and her husband Michael of Old Lyme and many nieces and nephews.
