Lynn M. Calabrese

Lynn M. (Brouillard) Calabrese, 63, of Southington, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 26, 2026 after a lengthy illness. She was the beloved wife of Michael Calabrese for over 11 years.

Born on July 27, 1963 in Waterbury, Lynn was the daughter of the late Armand and Rita (Champagne) Brouillard.

Lynn worked for Lane Construction of Cheshire as their staff accountant. Prior to her illness, she was actively involved with the Polish Falcons Nest #307, where she and mike volunteered. Lynn enjoyed the peace of losing herself in a great book or word search puzzle. She loved to travel, with the Florida Keys, Aruba, and especially the Dominican Republic among her favorite destinations. The Dominican Republic held a special place in her heart, as she and Mike visited three times, including for their honeymoon.

Lynn is survived by her husband Mike, her children Kurt Gelinas (Joan) of MD, Allen Gelinas (Mallory) of North Haven, Kyle Gelinas (Katy) of Bethlehem, David Gelinas (Gabrielle) of Glastonbury and Brian Calabrese of Manchester; her grandchildren Emily, Ethan, Alex, Harper and Beckett; her brother, Armand Brouillard of WV, her sister, Dana Angelicola (Frank) of Wolcott and her mother-in-law, Janet Calabrese of Southington. She also leaves several nieces and nephews, Richard Velez (Kassandra) of FL, William Brouillard (Brittany), Catlin Brouillard, Rebecka Brouillard, Avery Brouillard and Aidan Brouillard, all of WV; as well as her extended Gelinas family. In addition to her parents, Lynn was predeceased by father-in-law, Rocco Calabrese and her first husband, Steven Gelinas.

A memorial service will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Saturday, October 3, 2026. at the Plantsville Funeral Home, 975 S. Main St., Plantsville. Burial will follow in St. Thomas Cemetery, Southington.
