Margaret "Peggy" M. Gallant

Margaret M. “Peggy” (Anderson) Gallant, 80, of the Plantsville section of Southington, devoted wife of the late Eugene “Gene” Gallant, passed away peacefully at Autumn Lake in New Britain on Saturday, December 17, 2022.

Peggy was born in Jamaica Queens, NY on April 29, 1942, daughter of the late Charles and Marie (Fallon) Anderson. She worked for 32 years, right up until the week before this past Thanksgiving, at Ulbrich Steel in North Haven.  She enjoyed Bowling in the Cuno League in Meriden as well as playing setback and doing jig-saw puzzles.

Peggy will be deeply missed by her daughter April Nadeau and her husband Brian “BJ” Nadeau Sr. of Wolcott, her grandchildren Brian Nadeau Jr., Justin Nadeau, Michael Gallant, and David Pelletier.   She also leaves a brother Charlie Anderson and his wife Andrea of MI. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by two sons, Jimmy and Shawn Gallant.  

Peggy’s family would like to thank the Ulbrich Steel Company for their kindness to her over the years.
