Mary W. Izzo

Mary (Warren) Izzo, 74, of the Plantsville section of Southington, passed away on Friday, September 26, 2025. She was the loving wife of Carmine Izzo for over 50 blessed years.

Mary was born on August 1, 1951 in Jasper, Indiana to the late Cameron Clyde Warren and Marie (Morgan) Warren.

She worked alongside her husband Carmine at Carmine’s Italian Pizza in Southington for many years. Mary was a longtime parishioner at St. Thomas Church and was active in the Passion Play for 37 years. She loved music, flowers and tending to her beautiful gardens. Her faith and family were most important to her and she cherished all the time she spent with her grandkids.

In addition to her husband Carmine, Mary is survived by her daughter, Sandy Latour and her husband Kevin of Mesa, AZ and son, Enrico Izzo and his wife Brianna of Sarasota, FL, 4 grandchildren, Samantha Benevento and her husband Michael, Ayden, Clara and Elora and one great-granddaughter, Sofia. She was predeceased by her sister, Barbara Lambert and two brothers.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Mary’s memory may be made to St. Luke’s Parish Passion Play, 99 Bristol St., Southington, CT 06489.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 1, 2025 at St. Aloysius Church, 254 Burritt St., Plantsville. There are no calling hours.
