Mary L. Surveski

Mary (Ludecke) Surveski, 87, of Southington, CT, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 21, 2023 at Southington Care Center. She was the loving wife of Henry W. Surveski for 62 years.

Mary was born on November 12, 1936 in Southington to the late Frederick and Agnes (Lehan) Ludecke and had been a lifelong Southington resident.

Mary worked at Southington Bank & Trust for many years and then as a Teacher’s Aide in the Southington School System. She loved music and never found a song she couldn’t hum along to.

She lived her life selflessly. There was nothing she wouldn’t do for her family. She showed up any way she could for them, especially her mother, whom she cared for so she could stay in her own home as long as she could, and her granddaughter whom she adored more than anything.

In addition to her husband Henry, Mary is survived by her son, Stephen J. Surveski and her granddaughter, Rachel Surveski, both of Southington, and her sister, Ellen Dlugos of Plantsville.
