Mary (Kindel) Wielgosh, 97, of Southington, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 24, 2016 at the Summit of Plantsville.

Born on Sept. 10, 1918 in Southington to the late George and Theresa (Oblij) Kindel, she had been a lifelong Southington resident.

Mary was a lifelong member of the Holy Trinity Polish National Catholic Church and retired from the school cafeteria at Milldale School.

She is survived by her sister Helen Peck, her nephew George Peck and his wife Diane and their son Bill and his fiancé©e Alicia, all of Southington. She was predeceased by her first husband Stanley Uliasz, her second husband of over 50 years, Adolph Wielgosh and two brothers, Joseph and Walter Kindel.

Mary's family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at the Summit for their exceptional care and concern.

A funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday April 28, 2016 at Holy Trinity PNC Church, 200 Summer St., Plantsville. Burial will follow in Holy Trinity PNC Cemetery, Plantsville. Calling hours are prior to the service from 9-10:00 a.m. at the Plantsville Funeral Home, 975 S. Main St., Plantsville.
