Marybeth E. Gonzalez

Marybeth (Epps) Gonzalez, 78, of Southington, CT, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Wednesday, May 29, 2024 at Bel-Air Manor in Newington. She had been the beloved wife of Gustavo Gonzalez for 50 blessed years. 

Marybeth was born in New Haven on June 4, 1945 to the late Glane and Edna (Blakeslee) Epps. 

She graduated from Goodwin University and worked as an LPN at the Root Center for Advanced Recovery in Bristol for many years. Marybeth loved to read and was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. 

In addition to her husband Gus, she is survived by one daughter and three sons, Heather Fresa of North Haven, William Clingan of Bristol, Robert Clingan and his fiancé Amanda Hess of Charlotte, NC and Kevin Gonzalez of Southington and 6 grandchildren, Donovan, Olivia, Aidan and Riley Clingan and Chantelle and Katie Turner. She is also survived by her brother, David Epps, 2 sisters, Lauri Epps and Ellen Sebastian and her husband Paul of Bolton and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son-in-law, Victor Fresa and daughter-in-law, Stacey Clingan.
