Michele “Micki” (Kaelin) Bogoslofski, 77, of Southington, passed away peacefully on Monday June 21, 2021 after a long and fierce battle with COPD.

Micki was born on November 16, 1943 in New Britain to the late Paul and Helen (Chapman) Kaelin. She graduated from New Britain High School in 1961 and worked at Allstate Insurance, retiring after many years of service.

On July 11, 1964, she married her husband Frank whom she met in highschool at just 14 years old. They raised two children together, Karen and Kevin, in their home in Southington where they resided together for over 50 years.

Micki loved vacationing in Ogunquit, ME and Charlestown, RI. She enjoyed watching the birds in her yard, browsing craft stores, going to the beach, word searches and playing spider solitaire. She was also a frequent volunteer at the Zion Lutheran Church in Southington. Most of all, she loved her family and friends. Micki will be fondly remembered for her wit and sense of humor. She was a great listener and always provided the best life advice and wisdom. Micki was incredibly loved, cherished and will be deeply missed.

Micki is survived by her husband of 57 years, Frank J. Bogoslofski and two children, daughter Karen Bogoslofski and son, Kevin Bogoslofski and his wife Tammi. She is also survived by her five grandchildren, Ryan Hurley, Sarah Hurley, Seth Bogoslofski, Lauren Bogoslofski and Mikaela Bogoslofski and her beloved niece, Jill Costa. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by two sisters, Audrey Hughes and Jean Barsaleau.

Family and friends are welcome to join together for refreshment and gathering in celebration of Micki’s life at the Bogoslofski homestead on 85 Highridge Rd, Southington on Sunday, July 18, 2021, starting at 12 noon.
