Pasco A. Testa Jr.

Pasco “Pat” A. Testa Jr., 84, of the Plantsville section of Southington, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Tuesday, October 14, 2025 at the Summitt of Plantsville. He was the loving husband of the late Maryann (Bagley) Testa for 60 years.

Pat was born on September 15, 1941 in Southington, CT to the late Pasco A. Testa Sr. and Mary (Mauro) Testa. He was a longtime member of St. Thomas Church in Southington. Pat lived a simple life and centered his life around his grandkids and his family. He also enjoyed playing bocce, was a Past President of the Sons of Italy and worked as a pit boss at Foxwoods Casino for many years.

Pat leaves behind his four children, Cheryl Socquet and husband Bill of Myrtle Beach, SC, Deana Testa and fiancé Paul Zarella of Southington, Pat Testa and wife Janice and Nicholas Testa and wife Krystal, both of Plantsville and his cherished grandchildren, Ashley and Lindsey Socquet, Korryn, Danyelle, Nicole and Ryley Gianni, Jake and Cade Testa, Nicholas Testa and Emma Koski. He also leaves behind two sisters, Toni Cardinale and husband Michael and MaryLou Teele, two brothers, Anthony Romano and Albert Romano, two brothers-in-law, Richard Gdovin and John Teardo, as well as many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his wife Maryann, Pat was predeceased by two sisters, Joann Gdovin and Rosalyn Teardo.

Calling hours will be held from 5 – 7 p.m. on Friday, October 17, 2025 at the Plantsville Funeral Home, 975 S. Main St., Plantsville. A graveside service will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 18, 2025 at South End Cemetery, South End Rd, Southington.
