Patricia “Trish” (Howard) Chamberland, 75, of Southington, passed away peacefully after a long illness on Monday, May 25, 2026 at her home. She was the loving wife of David Chamberland for 43 years.

Trish was born on January 11, 1951 in Copiague, Long Island, New York to the late Martin J. Howard Sr. and Frieda (Lattner) Howard. She graduated from Wantagh High School in Long Island and had a long rewarding career as a certified nursing assistant.

Trish enjoyed gardening, cooking, and photographing naturescapes. She was a talented published writer and loved animals, especially her dogs. Most importantly, Trish adored her family and was the best “Grammie” to her three beautiful granddaughters.

In addition to her husband David, she is survived by two children; daughter, Melissa Chamberland of Coventry and son, Andrew Chamberland and his wife Veronica of Southington and three granddaughters, Victoria, Marianna and Gabriella. Trish was predeceased by one brother, Martin J. Howard, Jr.

Calling hours will be held from 5 – 7:00 p.m. on Friday, May 29, 2026 with Words of Remembrance at 7:00 p.m. at the Plantsville Funeral Home, 975 S. Main St., Plantsville.
