Patricia L. (DeManche) Gugliotti, 72, of the Plantsville section of Southington, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Thursday, December 18, 2025. She was the loving wife of David P. Gugliotti for nearly 48 years.
Patricia was born on September 17, 1953 in Meriden, CT to the late Robert Sr. and Dorothy (Bunce) DeManche.
Patty worked in banking for her entire career, starting as a teller manager in Jefferson Federal Savings Bank in Cheshire, then working at Webster Bank in Southington for almost 20 years. She finished her career at the Southington Liberty Bank, taking a position when it opened, and retired in 2019. Patty truly enjoyed her career in banking and was proud of being awarded “Employee of the Year” by the Town of Southington, Chamber of Commerce, during her time at Liberty Bank.
Patty was the most avid Red Sox fan…if you looked up “Red Sox fan” in the Encyclopedia, her picture would be there! She was always involved in her son’s activities, whether it be doing flash cards with kids in the hallways of Strong School or volunteering with his midget football teams. Patty enjoyed trips to the beach to see the big waves and loved snow- looking at it, not skiing or shoveling it. She will be remembered for her warm heart and love for kids and dogs.
In addition to her husband Dave, Patty is survived by one son, David M. Gugliotti of Los Angeles, CA, her brother, Robert DeManche Jr. and his wife Linda of Higganum, CT, many nieces and nephews and a large, loving extended family.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Patty’s memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (https://www.stjude.org/).
A memorial service will be celebrated at 6 p.m. on Monday, December 29, 2025 at the Plantsville Funeral Home, 975 S. Main St., Plantsville.
