Patricia A. Mora

Patricia Ann (Martell) Mora, 72, of Palm Coast, FL and formerly of Southington, CT, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 3, 2025 at the Halifax Hospice Center. She was the beloved wife of the late Jose L. Mora who predeceased her in 2013.

Patricia was born on April 30, 1953 in Saint Albans, Vermont to the late Herbert and Mary (Reynolds) Martell. She worked as a nursing assistant at the Rocky Hill Veteran’s Hospital and then in the VA healthcare system for many years. She enjoyed bowling, playing the slots at the casinos, cruising and traveling. Pat loved cheering on the Dallas Cowboys and her favorite color was purple.

Pat is survived by her children, William Mora of FL and Robert Mora (Joe) of Southington, Linette Mora of Newington, David Mora (Debbie) of NC and Lori Mora of Bristol and two grandchildren, Alisha and Jordan. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, especially Tammy Newton, with whom she made her home.

In addition to her husband Jose, she was predeceased by two sisters and their husbands, Dale Reynolds (Barry) and Sharon Maciasczek (Steven) and also her companion, Giles Jewett.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00p.m. on Thursday, August 14, 2025 at the State Veteran’s Cemetery, 317 Bow Ln., Middletown.
