Listen to Obituary

Patricia (Gugliotti) Pallotti, 88, of the Plantsville section of Southington, Connecticut, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on Monday, February 23, 2026, at Southington Care Center. She was the beloved wife of the late Vincent Pallotti, who predeceased her in 1999.

Pat was born on January 21, 1938, in New Britain, Connecticut, to the late Nunzio and Marie Antoinette (Donia) Gugliotti.

A faithful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, Pat’s heart was rooted deeply in grace, compassion, and unwavering devotion to her family and faith. She was truly the heart of her home — the steady presence who held her family together with love, strength, and kindness. She was known for her gentle spirit, her love of God, and her constant care for others. Pat was the heart and soul of her family.

Her days were filled with prayer, devotion, and the simple joys of being surrounded by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She instilled in her family the values of faith, kindness, and compassion — a legacy that will continue to live on in their hearts for generations.

Pat was a longtime parishioner of St. Aloysius Church in Plantsville, where she was an active member of the Ladies Guild and faithfully served as a Eucharistic Minister. Her faith was the cornerstone of her life, and nowhere was that more evident than in her deep devotion to The Abbey of Regina Laudis. She felt a profound spiritual connection to the Abbey and its community, finding peace, strength, and renewal within its sacred grounds. Her relationship with the Abbey went far beyond simple affiliation; it was a source of daily inspiration that shaped how she lived, prayed, and cared for others. She remained steadfast in her support and commitment to the Abbey throughout her life, holding its mission and its sisters close to her heart. Pat’s devotion reflected her quiet humility, her reverence for prayer, and her lifelong dedication to living her faith through action, compassion, and service to those around her.

Early on in her career, Pat worked at a local telephone company, where she formed many lifelong friendships. The bonds she created during those early working years remained strong throughout her life, and she treasured staying in touch with the friends she met there.

Pat later devoted many years of service to the Southington School System lunch program, where she was known for her warm smile and nurturing presence. She formed many close friendships with her coworkers, and the relationships she built there meant so much to her. She and her friends frequently enjoyed going out to lunch together, where they shared laughter, stories, and plenty of lighthearted conversation. Those moments of friendship and connection were among her happiest, and the bonds they shared remained close throughout the years. She also loved cheering on the New York Yankees and enjoyed following her team.

She is survived by her daughters: Ann Marie DiMauro of Plantsville; Angela Forshaw and her husband Brian of Waterford; Annette Vose and her husband Larry of Southington; Andrea Welch (Ezra) of Berlin; and Krystyna Jankowski and her husband Jay of Bantam.

She is further survived by her sister, Sandra Waycott of Plantsville.

Pat also shared a special bond with her beloved nephew, Eric Lambert of Salem, New Hampshire, who was like a son to her and held a very special place in her heart.

She also leaves behind eight cherished grandchildren: Matthew Vose (Kate), Jonathan Vose, Christopher Vose, Brittany Forshaw, Bethany Grady (Timothy), Robert Forshaw (Kaitlin), Jenna Rudnik (Kyle), and Taylor Edelbaum (Christopher).

Pat was the proud great-grandmother of ten: Makenna, Dylan, Carson, Theodore, Elanora, Robert Jr., Owen, Violet, Meadow, and Macklin.

She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members.

In addition to her husband Vincent, she was predeceased by her brother, Nunzio Gugliotti; her sister, Marie “Marge” Markiewicz; and her son-in-law, Kenneth DiMauro.

Pat’s family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the entire staff at Southington Care Center for their kindness, compassion, and dedicated care during her time with them.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Pat’s memory may be made to The Abbey of Regina Laudis, 273 Flanders Road, Bethlehem, Connecticut 06751.
