Perry F. DePaolo

December 26, 1960 — January 10, 2024

Southington, CT

Perry F. DePaolo, 63, of Southington, CT, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 10, 2024 at Ingraham Manor in Bristol. Perry was the loving husband of Tracey A. (Ryer) DePaolo for 38 years.

Perry was born in Southington on December 26, 1960 to the late Joseph J. and Dolores (DeRenzis) DePaolo. He graduated from St. Paul Catholic High School in 1978 and went on to earn his bachelor’s degree from Southern Connecticut State University.

Starting in the 1980s, Perry began a successful career in the mortgage lending industry where he earned many accolades and developed several lasting friendships along the way. Perry developed a particular interest in new construction, and shared his extensive knowledge in mortgage and real estate to provide a high level of service to his customers.

Perry was an enthusiastic San Francisco 49ers fan who loved playing golf, traveling to sunny locations, and spending time with family and friends. He enjoyed working on classic cars and computers, and was an avid collector of vinyl records. He was incredibly sociable by nature, and took great pride in bringing people together. Perry was well-loved for his easygoing nature and silly sense of humor.

In addition to his wife Tracey, Perry is survived by his son, Andrew DePaolo and his wife Kaitlyn of West Hartford. He is also survived by four siblings: Paul DePaolo and his wife Judith, Pamela DePaolo, Val DePaolo, and Joseph DePaolo and his wife Karen. Perry also leaves two nieces, Michelle Gras and Alicia DePaolo; two nephews, Joey DePaolo and Michael DePaolo; and his mother-in-law, Amelia Ryer.

The DePaolo family would like to express deep gratitude to the incredible care teams at Ingraham Manor, Hospice of Bristol, and Bristol Health for their kindness and compassionate care for Perry.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Perry’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Association (https://www.alz.org/).
