Philip T. Gervais beloved husband of Nancy Gervais passed peacefully to Eternal Life at age 90.

Born and raised in Waterbury, he was the son of Philip T. Gervais, Sr. and Albertine (Pronovost) Gervais.

Philip graduated from H.S. Chase School and Scared Heart High School in Waterbury. He attended Providence College in Rhode Island and enlisted in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. During Connecticut’s Great Flood of 1955 he volunteered in the Army Corps of Engineers. He dedicated 10 years of his life to serve as a Passionist brother. Philip was a devoted member of St. Peter and Paul Church, Waterbury, serving as Lector and Eucharistic Minister and in later years was equally devoted to St. Dominic Church, Southington. Philip and Nancy enjoyed many years of travel to Europe, Ireland, England, Caribbean Islands, and Western U.S. After retirement they spent 15 wonderful winter vacations in Siesta Keys, FL.

Philip was predeceased by his beloved sister Gloria L. Gervais.

Left to cherish his memory are his dearly loved nieces and nephews, Stephen Donahue and Debra, Nancy March and Charles, Michael Donahue and Lesley, Daniel Donahue and nephew of the heart, Arnold Olson  and also many dearly loved cousins of his extended Pronovost and Gauthier Families.

Deepest gratitude to Dr. K. Jega, our primary care doctor for 40 years and  to everyone at Southington Care Center for their devotion, kindness and beautiful professionalism while Phil was there.
