Richard C. Fischer, Jr.

Richard C. Fischer Jr, 51, of Meriden and former longtime Thomaston resident, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, December 20, 2020. He was the loving husband of Gergana (Tsoneva) Fischer.

Rich was born in Waterbury on November 10, 1969 to Richard C. Fischer Sr. and Karen (Ryan) Fischer. He was a loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend to many.

Rich loved his life and lived every day to its fullest. He enjoyed martial arts, mountain biking, movies, cooking, good food and drink and listening to country music. Most of all, he loved his family. Rich will be remembered for his big heart, sense of humor and willingness to give anyone the shirt off his back.

In addition to his wife Gergana, his new puppy love Jesse, and his parents Dick and Karen, Rich is survived by his son, Jordan Fischer, one grandson, Logan Fischer, his brother, Philip Fischer and wife Anne of Portland, his nephews, Andrew and Martin and his niece, Alyssa. Rich is also survived by his entire Bulgarian family, including his father and mother-in-law, Tsonio and Rumiana Tsoneva and sister-in-law, Biliana Tsoneva.
