Robert G. Haskell, 91, of Cheshire, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones on Wednesday, May 14, 2025 at his home. He was the loving husband of the late Alice (Nash) Haskell for 55 years.

Born in Southington on March 8, 1934 to the late John Walker Haskell and Emma (Nelson) Haskell, he had been a longtime Cheshire resident. Mr. Haskell worked as a teacher at A. I. Prince Technical High School in Hartford for over 30 years. He was a loyal and active parishioner at the former Christ Community Church in Cheshire for over 40 years. He will be remembered for the great love and devotion he had for his family, his church and for his love of music. He also was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox, New England Patriots and UConn Basketball.

Robert is survived by his children, Tammy Daigneault and her husband Al of Voluntown, Jeffrey Haskell and his wife Rhonda, Kim Haskell, Sandra Field and her husband Richard, all of Cheshire, Paul Linehan and his wife Karen of Pawcatuck, twelve grandchildren; William Anderson, Timothy Anderson (Jamie), James Anderson (Leanne), Kelly Daigneault, Michael Haskell (Nicolette), Courtney Haskell, Kristina Haskell, Rob Haskell, Cody Haskell, Mark Field (Jamie), Patrick Field (Courtney Townshend) and Stephanie Field (Jimmy Oakes) and six cherished great-grandchildren; Sophia, Macoy, Beatrix, Luke, James and Nash. He is also survived by his sister, Betty Porter of Southington. In addition to his wife Alice, he was predeceased by his son, Rick Linehan.

Robert’s family would like to thank Hartford Healthcare/In Home Hospice for their compassion and the excellent care they provided.
