Rosemary Patricia Narus

Rosemary Patricia (Collins) Narus, 87, of Southington, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, December 11, 2023 at HOCC at New Britain. She was the loving wife of the late Peter Joseph Narus for 64 years.

Patricia was born on July 26, 1936 in New Haven, daughter of the late Patrick Aloysius and Rose (Maloney) Collins. She enjoyed growing up in New Britain surrounded by her caring grandmother, aunts, uncle and cousins. Patricia was a faithful parishioner of St. Dominic Church in Southington for many years. She taught Religious Education and volunteered in many capacities for the church, school, and community. She worked at Lerners from the day Meriden Square opened until her retirement and made many lasting friendships there.

Patricia leaves behind her children; Peter John, Paul (Michelle), Chris (Lorella) and Jennifer and her cherished grandson, Andrew. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9 a.m. on Saturday, December 16, 2023 at St. Dominic Church, 1050 Flanders St., Southington. Burial will follow in St. Thomas Cemetery, Southington.
